FLOWER CARE

CARING FOR YOUR LANDEAU BOUQUET IS SIMPLE. FOLLOW THESE FIVE STEPS TO ENSURE THE LONGEVITY OF YOUR ARRANGEMENT:

1. BE CAREFUL WHEN MOVING YOUR BOUQUET

The Landeau box is designed to be a vase for the entire life of your roses. Be mindful of the internal plastic vase within your box. It is important that the box stay level when moving to ensure optimal hydration for your bouquet.

2. AVOID HEAT AND DIRECT SUNLIGHT

Find a place for your bouquet that is away from any source of heat or light. Cut roses are much happier away from a window.

3. KEEP ROSES HYDRATED

Upon delivery, we suggest checking the water levels by carefully lifting your bouquet to ensure that the water level is approximately 4/5th the way to the top. We recommend checking your water levels every 2-3 days and replacing the water completely every 4-5 days.

4. ROSE FOOD MIXTURE

Using the specially formulated rose food provided under the lid, create a mixture using cool water. Ensure that there are no leaves or petals in the mixture.

4. CUT STEMS ON AN ANGLE

Cutting your flowers on an angle every three to five days with a sharp knife or garden clippers (not scissors) will ensure that the roses can drink the mixture.

5. COSMETIC MODIFICATIONS

Though strictly cosmetic, peeling away the outer layers as they naturally wilt will reveal newer petals, thus renewing your Landeau bouquet. It is completely normal for some of our lighter coloured roses to show bruising during their lifetime.
