FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Do your roses "last a year?"

No. And here's why: We work exclusively with freshly imported roses from Ecuador. They are long lasting, but have been grown and produced naturally. Preserved or "Eternal" roses go through a strenuous chemical process to ensure they can "last a year", in the process losing their scent, and texture.

How long do your roses last?

This can vary depending on the rose colour. Lighter varieties tend to be more fragile, and can show bruising more quickly than a red or brightly coloured rose. With proper care (following the provided instructions), we can sometimes see our bouquets lasting up to 2 weeks.

Can you ship to my city?

At this time, Landeau is set up for local, white-glove deliveries. Due to the fragile and perishable nature of our product, our service is limited to Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, Seattle, Washington DC, Portland, Paris, Vancouver, Toronto, and New York City.

I love a colour of rose or type of flower that isn't on your site, can you do a custom bouquet for me?

We've carefully selected our palette to suit every occasion, and strive to keep our offering simple by working exclusively with roses.

Where do your roses come from?

Our roses are imported weekly from growers in Ecuador. Whether you order a bouquet in Vancouver, Toronto, New York or Los Angeles, we guarantee that our roses are responsibly grown in Ecuador, where the climate and industry conditions ensure the longest lasting roses of the highest quality.

Can I come and visit your store? Where are you?

Rest assured, there are real people preparing your Landeau bouquets, but we do not have plans to open retail locations. We're focused on becoming available in as many cities as possible, rather than having a retail presence in just a few cities. We've been known to "pop up" at different locations, but for the most part, we're an online business.

What does Landeau mean?

Landeau is pronounced Land-Oh, and has several meanings embedded into the name.
  • Inspired by our French aesthetic, we chose a French name
  • It borrows from a few brands and places that we love: Lanvin, London
  • A nod to our Vancouver heritage, Land and "eau", the French word for water.
  • We selected a name that has ambiguous meaning so that you can attach your own feelings to it.

When are you coming to..

In a word: Soon! Landeau has plans to be in a lot of of places within the next few months. Please reach out to us via email or social media to give us an idea of where you think we should be. We are listening, and your input influences us.
